I still find it hilarious that he skipped 1 and 2. As if a little thing like not having the negative would stop him from releasing a 4K UHD

Anyone wanna bet, that he's not actually using the original negatives, but some old dvd master? Upscaled and sharpened til it makes our eyes bleed

I mean, how many times have he lied to us?

People needs to stop supporting Mr Band and his shenanigans.

The uhds are arguably a rip off. But the promotions are solid. I can't complain with the EB gift set, 10 blus and a year of streaming all for $60.

Such bullshit that a Puppet Master movie of all things gets a good UHD and Trancers is forever stuck with decent to terrible scans.

It's been over 35 years...

Well the only other label I know of that does these, on Blu-ray at least is 88 Films and even they got the transfer from Fullmoon. They did a better job of encoding and having lossless audio but unless Fullmoon does another remaster of Trancers then that is what you are stuck with. And I simply don't see them doing that.

Cheapo Charlie needs to retire and sell off his catalog to the highest bidder so the films can be released properly.

In fairness, it's a prequel.

Maybe Full Moon is trying to go all out with PM 1 and looking for the unrated footage (there's also an alternate audio track for the film that can be heard when it aired on Showtime and Monsters HD).

Ummm, it's on the first page of this thread. Charlie Band said they've misplaced the negative to the first one so they started with 3 because of it's popularity.

Thanks, I bought this and just watched it now. Really solid presentation. I can't believe a Fullmoon title actually looks this good.
