GFR has a pretty bad track record when it comes to casting rumors. Anyways, Pearl is easily my favorite from last year and I can't wait to see this, loved X as well.

I have somehow sat on Pearl for a while now, need to watch it. It seems like it might be slow or not visually stunning. I really liked X.

It's neat how he put 3 films out so quickly.

Pearl is excellent. Treat yo self. It was cool because as soon as I saw it I immediately wanted to re-watch X. And it was cool having that background on the character. There's at least a pay off or two with it.

Pacing is comparable to X which also takes its time. And Pearl has an absolutely gorgeous Technicolor inspired look. I was pretty irritated when my local theater chose to put it on one of their worst screens.
