My Paranorman and Coraline steelbooks arrived a week early from Shout. Is that typical or was this an exception?

Typical. Shout tends to ship things before release date if they have them on hand from the supplier.

Got my copies of Coraline and Paranorman today. Mine showed up in the flimsy envelope too- not even padded, but luckily they were damage free (at least on first inspection- haven't opened them up yet). But they look great! Really looking forward to Kubo.

Only half lucky...mine showed up in the dreaded fu**ing envelope with Paranorman dented. They have not an ounce of common sense! Same crap for years and years.

Saw the 3-D for the anniversary earlier this year in theater and they talked about the upscaling for the behind the scenes stuff.

Pretty cool they really put the effort in for the upscale when they could have cheesed it.
