Looks like the UK steelbook has only 4 4K discs, so you can always import it.

Personally, I don't mind stacked discs too much. I've never had an issue with it causing them to get scratched. But don't get me wrong, I'd prefer just 4 4K discs and no blu-rays.

Preordered the uk Amazon set. Was going to get the standard set but it’s only 10 cheaper so went with the steelbook. Loved house of dragons so I’m happy to get the 4k

Pretty confident that when the series is done, they'll bring out another nice all singin' all dancin' deluxe set (like they did with GoT), so I'll wait.

Mine was delivered today in the cardboard shipping “envelope”. Looked okay upon opening it, but I haven’t given it a close inspection yet.

I really don't see the point in including blurays in these steelbooks when it's a 4k release.

Waste of materials and takes up space in the steelbook, especially when it's a multi-disc release.

Got mine in last night. Beautiful Steelbook, but don’t love the stacked discs at all. I also thought it was an odd choice that the Steelbook is the same artwork as the regular release

Has anyone had their Amazon UK order dispatched yet.

The payment has been taken and the website is offering delivery tomorrow with Prime but my delivery estimate is saying Saturday. No option to change the delivery option in the order page.

You'll probably get it tomorrow. Amazon UK is shit with pre-orders currently. I guess there was maybe the risk of this selling out, but in general don't pre-order with them unless you get a guarantee delivery date, will generally be just as quick placing an order once it's out.
