It was gory, gross, funny and I agree too long!

Every generation has to up the ante in the violence but it’s nothing I haven’t seen before.

Art the Clown was a lot of fun.

Yeah I haven't seen the full movie yet just the gross kill of Allie online, but I wondered how much was spent on the movie from the Kickstarter? Do filmmakers get to keep the leftover money? Terrifier 2 crushed it getting fans to fund it, just wondering if the director can pocket the money not spent? I think so right? Maybe he only used half and bought himself a Tesla. Not judging btw.

I'm not sure these movies are my kind of thing, but this cover is awesome.

It feels like there's an intense viral marketing campaign going on for this one.

They teamed with Bloody Disgusting, which is known for viral marketing.

And it worked. It's already outgrossed movies with much larger built-in fan bases like the Jay & Silent Bob reboot and Clerks III. The original Terrifier always seemed like a fairly minor dtv movie that people stumbled upon through streaming because the villain looked fairly interesting. I wasn't too into it on first viewing, though I did buy it when it was on sale for around $3-4 on stream to give it another watch at some point. Haven't seen the sequel and will probably eventually give it a watch desite the runtime seeming quite long for this type of movie.

Interesting! I'm sort of proud my spidey sense was accurate then.

Can't argue with results. And as far as the run-time, I'm glad this generation finally has their "Fatal Exam."

this is what I last heard from those involved with production. I'll try to find out more.. they are not revealing too much since they are enjoying the theater success. Tomorrow the US streaming date will be revealed (its before halloween - but ONLY on screambox) - the actual digital purchase/stream for anyone else will be announced on Halloween. Scream box has an exclusive period for viewing outside theaters.

Best Buy's 4K listing went up but still nothing officially listed for Special Features. I really don't want to buy this 3 times just to get the SteelBook, the 4K, and all the Special Features.

This suggests that they'll all have the same features.

where did you hear this? because not a single release mentions deleted scenes or outtakes.

Eh, I'd be interested if they do keep the extended/deleted scenes.

I have only watched 1 and 2, haven't check All Hallow's Eve yet, but so far I liked 1 better than 2. Gore was amazing on this one, but I kinda digged the style of 1 due to the way the "story" went torwards the middle. 2 was too long IMO, but still a fun movie.

Deleted scenes? It's two and a half hours! What the hell did they cut out?
