I was just about to order this on Blu Ray too. Glad I waited. Any Nas fans should check out KD3 too. Another classic album.

1998, one of the best years in hip-hop.

This should be pure eye candy in 4K.

Would've made a great addition to the Criterion Collection but alas.

Listening to it now, sounds great. I haven't listened to Nas for a while, so I need to catch up wth some of his other recent releases.

edit: Fav tracks so far: Thun, Michael & Quincy, and Recession Proof (love the beat and flow on this one).

Hell yeah! The blu-ray leaves a lot to be desired picture-wise, so I'm excited to see what the 4k will look like.

I don't think it's the video quality of the blu-ray. The movie in general is ugly, but it seems like that's the way it was filmed intentionally, to have a gritty, atmospheric image. The 4K release may look similar, but in higher resolution with HDR and DV.

Slightly off-topic but I just learned Nas was born in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, which is where I've lived my whole life. Pretty cool.
