Yah, definitely. It's too bad that the game is so antiquated now, I actually still have it... I should see how it runs under Windows XP.

Cool I don't play many PC games, but this one I would consider.

i second fatal frame 2. fatal frame one was a bit 'jaggy' to say the least, and fatal frame 3 was, er.. complicated.

fatal frame 2 is definitely its gem in the series. i think that new movie 'shutter' is based on it. great game, great atmosphere, and different concept. do grab this or rent it at least and see how it goes for you.

Edit: I haven't played Silent Hill but just from seeing the movie, I can imagine the game is pretty scary. I'm sure I'd like it.
I second this. Doom 3 was very creepy.

Cool

For me it would be Alien Vs. Predator 2. The Human campaign, you don't even see an alien the first 30 minutes, but the tension plays hell with your senses. Dead bodies falling, burst pipes. Just scary.

I really don't get into scary game, but Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube was kind of freaky.

Yeah, I forgot about that one. I don't know about "scary" like res. evil or horror, but a nerve jangler none the less

Good one. It had one of my favorite gaming moments. It was really dark and I could hear the face huggers scurrying around as I was trying to find my way. It kept building tension until I finally couldn't take it anymore so I just started spinning and shooting in every direction.

The first Unreal, while not scary throughout, the lights going out scene early on was great (scary and great gaming moment).

I never could get into Res. Evil. Did not like it much. Silent Hill on the other hand really played with my senses. I remember playing that on a day off while my wife had just gotten home from work and went to bed. The dog was at my feet, lights out, dude I was into this game. My wife woke up for something to drink, startled the dog, and scared the daylights out of me. I think my controller almost hit the ceiling fan due to me throwing it. 2 and 3 are a little scary to.
