They already had that in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. When Sam dropped the cube splinter and it fell on the bedroom floor, went through and fell once again on the kitchen table or floor and the electric appliances started to transform into robots. Also in that movie one of the Decepticons transforms into a human (the coed that gets interested on Sam).

I do think the transformers as animals looks a bit silly and without the Charlie character and cute high school self discovery setting I feel like this could easily slip back into the deep mediocrity of the later Transformers sequels.

I guess we’ll see, but this definitely isn’t a movie I’ll see in the cinema no matter what. Only if it has good reviews! Life’s too short to watch critically panned transforming monkeys, even if it is in 3D

I was checking Premiere Cinema to see if they had any IMAX 3D listings up. And they don't, however they will be showing Dark of the Moon in IMAX 3D in between Rise of the Beasts showings. Wasn't expecting that.



Annoying that ROTB won't be in IMAX 3D here. Guess I'll be going to Cinemark for XD 3D.

If the 3D in Rise of Beasts is on par with Age of Extinction's medium to strong 3D conversion, this could look awesome in 3D. The Last Knight was mostly medium layering from my theatrical 3D viewing, and not as strong as Age of Extinction's.

I'm not a Transformers fan by any stretch of the imagination BUT I have tickets for the first available 3D IMAX showing of this.

Here's hoping the stupid projector doesn't break down or something.

I found them both about the same.

While a certain amount of footage would presumably have been converted, both were filmed in native 3D with Imax cameras. To me this was the saving grace.

I remember strong 3D and vivid cinematography in both films, but I felt the rapid cutting often undermined the stereoscopic effect. I recall some very nice pop-outs in The Last Knight that didn't linger as long as I wanted them to.

Just checked and this movie will have 3D IMAX, 3D 4DX and reald 3D.

I'll give it a shot as I'm suspecting that after theatrical release there won't be an effort by Paramount to have this on disc in 3D.

These last few days I've spent more on movies in 3D than in a whole year in the past.

I am not really that interested in this but will go see it for the 3D. I didn't care to see Bumblebee but I went and I'm so glad I did, great 3D and it never got a physical release. If you missed it in the theaters, you pretty much missed out.

Starts off mild from the opening logos, but it got better from the DB logo. The first scene is high medium, to strong with

.The rest of the movie has a fair balance of medium, high medium and some strong depth. Pop-outs include maybe some embers coming close to edging the screen.

I don't really have anything great to say about the movie, but I would agree that the 3D was pretty sweet (especially in 3D IMAX)

Well your lack of enthusiasm for the movie is no surprise given the lack of musical numbers…

But clearly imax 3d is the best way to see this!

And yes you should watch it in 3D IMAX by all means.

Is there any 3D in this that you'd say is on par with the early scene in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 where Rocket walks into the bar?
