I'd take Bloodsport, Universal Soldier, and Death Warrant.

Not a Van Damme fan...but I'd probably get Sudden Death 'cause a college buddy of mine has a bit part in it.

Lionheart definitely, Bloodsport of course, Timecop why not?, but I think Nowhere to run is one of the most under-rated Van Damme movies. Bring it to BLU!

Sorry I do not really like his movies! But it's just a matter of choice and the more and more titles is always great!

On another note I think the career of Wesley Snipes is having the same trend as Jean-Claude Van Damme... He was in some good movies at one time but recently... As anyone seen the Detonator, it was really a crappy movie!

I currently have 25 of his movies on DVD (not entirely sure why)... Bloodsport and Kickboxer would be awesome though.

I have all of his DVD movies and some of his only on VHS movies (No Retreat No Surrender for example - I love that movie - Van Damme playing Russian, so funny).

I would probably buy Bloodsport. But don't think restoration on the other films would go too far. So probably won't look much better than dvd.

I would buy most of them if they restored them, but in their current DVD condition most a pretty dirty. Aside from Bloodsport that is. Great DVD, will make an awesome Blu.

Take that back! Van Damme's recent films are damn good. Snipes recent films are all just aweful. Other than the Blade films he has turned into a Steven Segal (although not as fat and not using body doubles as he was too lazy to even walk).

I seriously don't know what happened to Snipes though. He was A-List for a while there. Now he is D-.

Maximum Risk. Featuring the delectible Natasha Henstridge. That is a great film.

I'd buy Hard Target in a heartbeat as there are no good transfers out. I'd buy Sudden Death, Maximum Risk, Universal Soldier, Timecop if the price was good. I have them all on DVD, and a lot of the DVD transfers are very good, so I wouldn't warrant upgrading.

You may be right! The last that I watched was Desert Heat (1999) and it was really... well, not that great. That's when I stopped watching his movies!

Tell me what's it greatest movie since and I'll give it a try!

Universal Soldier, Bloodsport & maybe Timecop would be my only picks.

Van Damme & Steven Segal should do a fight to the death reality movie. My money would be on Van Damme.

Replicant wasn't bad, and Wake of Death was pretty good as well. Last one I saw was Until Death which was actually pretty messed up and serious (dark movie for him). The main difference recently is the acting has been better, but the budgets are way lower and it shows. Too bad, cuz he could probably do some decent flicks theatrically still. I think he should play some villains in major action films now, he would be fantastic (wouldn't make a bad Terminator either IMHO).

As far as Blu releases of his that I would buy, probably just Timecop and Hard Target for sure. Maybe one of the earlier ones too like Bloodsport or Kickboxer, but just for nostalgia. Don't get me wrong, I like him okay still but I'm definitely not gonna stock up on Van Damme flicks for my Blu library. He never was able to make 'that classic action movie' like so many of his peers (Timecop was as close as he got IMO). Oh well, there's probably my first and only Van Damme rant on a forum. Not sure where that came from.
