Disappointing that they refuse to upgrade the audio. Even the original 6 at least had 7.1.

Well the audio shouldn't be an issue here - isn't 5.1 OG audio for these.

I would like Atmos remixes, but if they did that they'd give with one hand and take away with the other, as I doubt the old 5.1 tracks would make it.

Right, these were all Dolby Digital theatrically I believe.

well if that April 4th day and date holds then so be it, because Season 3 of Picard kicks of Feb 16th and is 10 episodes which concludes on April 20th.

on a side note, this will most likely be another clam shell flipper and eventually individual releases a year later. Nonetheless I will engage in a day one purchase!

He does bad things. Very bad things.

However, he's not just a "villain", he's so devastated by his loss and the lure of getting what he lost back, albeit illusion, it twists him into what he becomes by the 2nd half of the 24th century.

Someone like Khan was created bad, so he was a villain even before his tragedy on Ceti Alpha 5 (and a brilliant villain because he was written so well and played so perfectly).

If you're attempting to save money I'd wait on the Rocky set. The cover art is terrible and we're still missing V and VI.

If the cost of three standalones is less than the box set, I'm doing that. Generations has gorgeous cinematography, First Contact is a no brainer and Nemesis does have a massive and kickass battle scene. But Insurrection can kick rocks. The climatic fight between Picard and Stretchy Face has bluescreen windows because they couldn't afford to composite in a suitable space backdrop.

Same. Even though I grew up with the excitement of seeing TNG in its OG broadcast run, the TNG movies just didn't hold up as well for me as the TOS movies. However, because I have been, and always shall be, a Trek Wh00r3...I will give Paramount my money over and over and over, ad infinitum. Plus, Tom Hardy as a Bald Human/Reman/Romulan in Dolby Vision...how can you pass that up?!
