You’re right. I didn’t watch it because the aspect ratio was different and didn’t feel correct. Not sure what’s up with that.

It is 1080p, doesn't look to be an upscale to me but I'm not the best at noticing video issues. I think I'd notice that though.

Appears to be opened up on the top and bottom to get the 16x9 ratio, not cropped on the sides.

Audio is unfortunately only lossy stereo though.

Watched this one.

Jim is solid, but Rhona doesn't have the acting chops to make her character as sympathetic as it is supposed to be. I liked her better as the stoic anti hero in Doomsday. I think she works well in that role.

I liked the movie despite its faults. I do agree with the site review where the reviewer points out that the bad guy is too unbelievable for a movie that wants to be taken so seriously. The things this bad guy pulls off despite his limitations becomes hilarious. He kinda of undermines Jim's character. Who talks and acts a big game, but ultimately comes off as weak in the scenes that matter.

Still, the car chasing scenes are good enough to make the movie enjoyable.
