This new SC9 is was designed with very special enhancements and features when paired with the 2022 or 2023 C3 and the G3 Series OLED TVs.

Robert, since I will be finally getting a 4K television soon, I am going with the 65" C2, can you recommend an affordable soundbar from LG that will work well with it? I saw a few at Best Buy recently on sale for under $300 but unsure what the quality is, as I have never owned a soundbar before. Thanks in advance!

If the budget permits LG's new SC9 3.1.3 is magical when paired with LG's C2 or C3 or G3.

MSRP is $999.

Thanks, quite a bit over my budget, was looking in the sub $300 arena, but perhaps I will wait to get the one you mentioned at a later date. I am coming from a 2008 Panasonic Plasma without a sound bar so anything I get will be a huge upgrade.

Hi, Robert! Recently I've bought an LG C3 77 OLED TV and I'm pretty happy with it! Previously I owned an LG B9 55 OLED TV, also a great device for that time and budget, but bigger screen size and advanced LG techology in the new OLED range, you know, they do thrill me a lot so I decided for a substantial upgrade) However, now I have a question about the DTS support for the C3 model. Can you confirm that LG C3 (at least for the US market) outputs DTS sound with its internal speakers, not only with an external device via HDMI eArc "pass-through" setting? There seems to be some sort of a misguidance for users within the 2023 LG OLED TV manual (for the European market) in terms of C3 technical specifications . European LG tech support states LG C3 can only pass-through DTS to an external device (like soundbar or receiver) but can't decode it for its internal speakers. In the manual it is stated that C3 can decode DTS sound format. Also, in practice I see that my C3 TV does output sound through its internal speakers, for example, when a DTS soundtrack is selected on the 4K UHD blu-ray disk. So now I am a little bit confused about the real DTS support in the C3 model! Could you, please, clear my doubts on this matter. Thank you!

Looking to buy the LG OLED65C3PUA with the SC9S soundbar and subwoofer from Best Buy since they have a combo deal going on as my 2016 LG 4K 3D is on its last leg. Anyone here have this setup? Debating on getting the LG SPQ8-S wireless rear speakers as well. Appreciate any advice/opinions/reviews.

@ Madman2112, you will LOVE LG's 65" C3 with the perfectly matched SC9S 3.1.3 Dolby Atmos/DTS:X sound bar audio system the the SPQ 5 rear channel speakers!

We have the same system set-up in our showroom and everyone loves the picture quality and the exceptional SC9 integrated sound bar audio system.

Best Buy is fine, but you should find the same bundle deal at all authorized dealers and some with even more compelling offers.

Just saw Vincent report that both the C2 and C3 no longer dim with the latest firmware during dark scenes.

That's the one thing that has held me back from going OLED. I just can't deal with the auto-dimming. If it's fixed, I think the C3 just might be my next TV.

Unfortunately I'm in the UK, which cannot compete with current US prices.

The $1599.99 that LG US are asking for the 65 inch C3, is a steal IMO.
