Well, since Bumblebee occurs earlier, it makes some sense to list it first. And I've read it's going to have its own sequels.

Referencing auction results rather than readily available buy-it-now listings is lame AF and completely useless. Using your logic, every steelbook can be gotten for about $20 since at some point in time an auction somewhere ended for approximately that amount...

But it doesn't actually do that. eBay auction results on preorders are completely different IMO from product-in-hand results post release. They will also potentially vary greatly from auction to auction.

Moreover, reports like this do a disservice to the community at large IMO by wasting everyone's time. People here are looking for deals/prices/vendors that they can use personally. I wasted my time going to eBay and looking for actual listings at cheaper prices than Amazon based upon your initial post, when you were actually just cryptically referencing a single completed auction.

It's the same reason we don't report prices we got on Facebook Marketplace or at our neighbor's garage sale... a single nonreproducible past-tense price isn't useful to anyone else.

Holy cow once again they fudged up and say it is 4K + Blu-Ray when it is 4K only (like they did with the 5 film SteelBook saying it had DVD when it didn’t) the Blu-Ray Disc is not the movie it’s just the Special Features and used recycled discs. Wow will definitely wait for a price drop.

I think their reasoning was that most people who would be interested in this set already own these movies by now, and also the fact that Paramount don't normally do 4K+BD anymore.

Mine had a couple tiny scratches on a couple steels but I'm remarkably happy with the packaging and condition. Got packed in with my d&d steel but Amazon packed enough bubbles in there to keep them from moving and both were close to perfect.
