Default well...

you're not crazy, you simply have a different opinion/taste when it comes to what makes a good Bond film.

I personally liked what they were going for with a grittier, more grounded James Bond saga which incorporated his origins, career, personal life, etc... in what was basically an ongoing storyline with a well defined beginning, middle and a rather more definitive ending. I genuinely liked the way they humanized the characters of Bond, M, Moneypenny, Q, etc... I felt that after all of the other depictions of 007 (and let's be honest here, many of them literally bordered on self parody), this newest one was, to me at least, a breath of fresh air. I also loved Daniel Craig's portrayal.

But like I said, it's merely a matter of differing opinions.

Everyone has their own favorite James Bond films as well as their favorite actor who portrayed the role. For me, it's Daniel Craig.

I find that the most interesting conversations generally tend to stem from occasionally 'going off topic'. It's the way most multi-participant/group conversations evolve... one thing leading to another.

I think Casino Royale probably was where Bond movies peaked for me. Great action, snappy script, some small amount of humour. I was not a fan of Spectre or No Time To Die. I think perhaps there is a good film in Quantum, but the editing & short run time probably ruin "what could have been".

Ask yourself this. Who is the main villain of The Dark Knight Rises? Since it and The World is Not Enough are practically the same movie..

... where do you stand on "Skyfall"? I only ask because it's the only Daniel Craig James Bond film you didn't mention.
