That box seems… really large. Very tempting though. Even though I have Cellar Dweller and Dungeonmaster, I’d really like to have Dolls and Robot Jox in my collection.

Fudge, I only need Arena! Finally, some useable film elements were found though . I knew that's been an issue keeping it from being released so it's impressive they found a 35mm element to use. This alone makes it a purchase for me since I collect all Empire and Full Moon films on blu-ray.

I wonder how big the box is - big enough to hold future releases perhaps? Maybe this is just a starter set - because it does feel like there should have been other movies included.

I'm stoked to finally have Arena in HD, and will happily double-dip on the rest. Though I'm sitting on some unwatched SF discs still.

it's only 5 movies so shouldn't be THAT big. My guess the pictures just look bigger to show off the artwork. I'm thinking something similar to the House 1-4 set but a tad bigger maybe since this will have 5. Also depends if they're using the thick cases or the slim cases. (hoping for the slim cases tbh)

Diabolik is asking $64.99 as is Zaavi. Arrow is asking $70 but you can get 700 Arrow points. No idea what shipping is at any of these places to make the ultimate best deal, but no matter how you slice it, this is priced pretty great.

Personally, I'm waiting on Amazon US as I pay for Prime for a reason and want my free shipping. IF they try to overcharge then I'll likely just go with Arrow directly or Diabolik. I'd prefer to not be charged until June however as I Just purchased a new PC, additional 2TB SSD, and some other odds and ends this last week and would prefer to pay that off first before paying outright for a box set that isn't coming for a few months.

This is limited edition, looking at the design of the box etc, horror movies, this is likely something that will sell out fairly rapidly IMO. One I would definitely preorder if you want the outer box at least... could see them reissuing as singles after box sells out.

I was on the fence because I already own Dungeonmaster and Dolls, but at that price, I was won over. Looking forward to having the others. I haven't watched Arena since the early 90's.

If you have a Chase Freedom card, starting tomorrow you'll start earning 5% cash back on Amazon purchases. Between that and the free shipping, it would probably be a better deal than even Grindhouse (don't know what GH charges for shipping but for a box set it's probably at least $5).

Three cuts of The Dungeonmaster and Arena on Blu? I’m in. Arena is awesome. Reissues or not, this is a good representation of the Empire/Band cocktail; robots, killer dolls, aliens, silly fantasy & rubber monsters.

That box looks goddamn huge, though. Preordering, but hoping it makes the 50% off sale in July from Barnes & Noble.

I'm confident that you won't regret your purchase and more than likely will very much enjoy it. I'd be a bit surprised if you found any more than 1 or 2 of the films not enjoyable. Almost all of these have that special 80's charm about them that makes them fun viewing experiences even if the movies themselves are just so-so.
