I would get this just for my collection - but I've got a feeling this won't see a US release. Maybe just the SB without the sleeve and extras as a BB exclusive, but that's not interesting enough to me.

I made this visual history of Jurassic Park's home video releases for a dinosaur movie blog. Thought I'd share it here just to show how many times this movie has been released in 30 years.

Pretty bad when the VHS release had a nicer looking edition than this (referring to the Fossil Edition in the second slide).

Exactly. The minimalist approach doesn’t always work with a steel. But this is one of those releases where this will always and forever be the iconic poster associated with the movie. That is a nice looking VHS. I'd ebay that over this new steelbook.

Disney 100 is at least actively trying to do minimalist design. This JP is practiaclly High school photoshop class. And I hope the designer sees this comment. So they can quit and do something else.

I love the design and simplicity of the Adventure Pack, I used to have it before my thieving cousin and ***** aunt stole it.

Why can't the latest boxsets replicate that?

As much as I love this movie, and as much as i wanted a Steelbook, i already own the regular 4k release, and thus artwork us just bad.

I’ll stick with my Best Buy Tin for now.

Amazon has strangely removed listings for a short time on some items lately.
It's also possible it may have sold out, they did say it was strictly limited. It's still available on Gruv.

My pre-order still says arriving June 27th.
