Kes & Gregory's Girl are the truest depictions of childhood / schooldays / adolescence, even first love, certainly in the UK.

If most US High School movies are even remotely accurate it's no wonder Trump got in.

I would recommend you try Frederick Wiseman's High School or High School II for a true example of what American High School is like.

Big improvement over the 2013 resto, which wasnt bad ether (aside the lousy compression of Second Sight in that era).

Can you confirm if the BBFC rating card and ITC Film Distributors "pinwheel" logo are there like the SS BD?

Received mine today from amazon, happy they honoured the pricing error (I paid only £12.99).
Was concerned about reports of the PQ being overblown with reds and awash with pink and for a moment considered just sending it back to amazon unopened, but for the price paid decided to keep it.
And glad I did. Had a quick scan through it to check and did not notice any of the problems mentioned above.

I think the trailer audio is mono. If your setup has issues with that, you might need to change an option somewhere. What's your audio setup? TV speakers, soundbar, AV receiver?

I had it set up for mono for the movie itself so very odd there.

If he's using a Panny could it be that "feature" of their players that encases a mono track in a 5.1 container? (I'm quoting/aksing you because I'm on mike's ignore list, lol.) He did say that the movie's mono played fine but I'm guessing that won't be encoded in Dobly Digital.
