Not unusual just letting people know.

The two call backs to Raiders were good. Indy wanting to become a part of history was interesting. I think each movie showed a change in the character as well as how the world changed around him.

It is kind of sad to see Indy go. Hopefully the game is actually released this time. They should have left his hat in the past, so it could end up in a museum.

This was great. I liked it even more than I expected and Harrison Ford is still great as Indy. One thing I don't like is that they killed Mutt between the movies. That wasn't needed. Also Paramount logo was wasted in the beginning.

Luckily Indy was able to put sand in a bag to make it useful. That way it did not get everywhere and make him upset and lash out at clouds.

Yeah they probably could have ignored that. Yet using it as a divide between Indy and Marion worked. Not sure how else that could have played out. The other option would have been he walking about because he wanted to go on another adventure. Yet that has been done so many times in this genre.

I was expecting it to be more important later in the movie. I was thinking that maybe Indy wants to go back in time to save his son.

Well he does bring that up as something he wishes he could do. I think he understood where his place was, I think it says something about all his adventures. In each one he gets up the prize to live his life. He finally has what he wants and can rest.

Best line : 'You're a German. Stop trying to be funny!'

Funny how so many people were anxious to have Mutt not be acknowledged or to be killed off, and Indy's speech about him turns out to be one of the most unexpectedly emotionally affecting scenes not only in the movie but arguably in the whole series.

Two questions :

How did Voller work out that Helena would take the Antikythera to Tangiers to auction?

And if I'm not mistaken, at the end don't the NYPD still want to question Indy over the murders of the two people in the college and the ConEd employee?

Sorry if those plot strands were addressed and I just missed them.

I didn’t quite get it if Voller knew Indiana from the train or not… or was he playing ganes.
Maybe him getting hit pretty hard made him forget. Indiana sure remembered him.

What do you think?

She'd previously been arrested for auctioning antiques in Tangiers so maybe just a fair assumption.

DoD was far superior to Krystal Skull in every way! This one actually felt like a proper Indiana Jones movie.

So does the film really have the depressing ending or was it just a ploy to destroy the film?
