Doubt he was ill. Looked healthy at Star Wars Celebration recently and was filming in Italy…..unfortunately it was likely a fatal cardiac event.

My brother, 42, had two strokes last week and as of this time, is still on a breathing tube.

Life is just getting way too real for me these days.

Man, so sad to hear of this. Rome also was my introduction to him. Until hearing of his passing today, I had still been hopeful of Rome being revived as a theatrical film, or an HBO follow up film like Deadwood.

Sorry to read this. Hopefully he gets better soon. I suffered a heart attack at age 45 a few years ago and had to have a stent put in. It was a wakeup call for me.

ROME is my #1 favorite series of all time because of Ray Stevenson.
I've probably watched ROME, and shown it to others, at least half-a-dozen times.
The character of Titus Pullo, as created by Ray Stevenson, is iconic. Like Rambo, or Dirty Harry. Unforgettable.
He got to bang Cleopatra too, the Greek one anyway.
Not too many actors can put that on their resume.
