Really enjoyed Djeng's commentary as usual but wish there was a commentary on the 2nd film too. I was really hoping to hear more. Alas...

Well, time to watch God of Gamblers now...

Hrm. Works on mine well too. Didn't notice anything odd w/ the subs on my end.

Man, how I wish we got Djeng for a commentary on that 2nd film. He adds a lot of context to me. I enjoy the films all the same but being added into it later w/ context of time and culture does add a nice flavor to it for me.

Was late finally picking up this release, but I was not prepared for how amazing these were as a back-to-back viewing experience. It was like watching both parts of Kill Bill as one film, I can’t imagine viewing these separately, though they do seem to work on their own, but as a single story this felt extremely underrated.

I’m shocked both films have such low scores on IMDb. I’ve learned not to put much stock in user reviews on there, but it seems like the wrong people were watching these or were just going in with the totally wrong expectations.

I watched both of these films on DVD in the Summer of 22. I gave Rich and Famous a 5/10 and Tragic Hero a 6/10. Although these aren't stellar ratings I did pick up Eureka's release. Perhaps I'll enjoy them more seeing them in better quality.
