I hope this release fixes the banding issues from the BD.

They’re bad on the U.S. release but absolutely murder on the UK one. Surely they’ll be improved, if not entirely eradicated.

I just watched Fall for the 3rd time overall, and 1st time unrated. So much better hearing the actual dialogue. Although there is still a rated part in there where Hunter says "freaking" twice in one sentence. At first I thought maybe that is part of the script, but then I watched the making of straight after, and that part was shown to use the A.I and dub. So I'm confused as to why they left that one part in the unrated cut?? So happy to see this movie getting the treatment it deserves!! For me, this is the only movie where watching it at home will never have the same effect as when I watched it in the cinema.

Ironic. I think. I'm not really afraid of heights. I remember using this wooden structure beside the house during my youth giving me great access to the roof. I would climb up there a lot when my parents weren't there. I could also get onto the garage roof. I think I used a ladder for that one. I became a slight daredevil by putting a mattress in the backyard and I would sit on the edge of the garage's roof and I would drop.

I have arthritis in my right knee and I have had to get onto my current roof to nail up tarps because I don't have house insurance to help out. I'm still pretty much not afraid of heights, but with my knees in such bad shape I do feel slightly dizzy getting up there these days.

Watching this movie the other night I could feel it. And my tv sucks. It's a 75", so it's pretty good sized. But it worked well. I felt anxious for most of the run time. I felt furious, too. I mean, there were a couple ways they didn't try to get down. They could have tied the rope off at the last rung of the ladder still attached and climb down to the dishes. The girl above would undo the rope and let the end fall to the girl on the dish. Then she could tie it off at the dishes and climb down from there. Or, use the rope like one of those people who climb trees with the rope looped around yourself and the tower. Couldn't someone have seen that working?

Hope there's Atmos! It was an intense experience watching it in a theater.

Is this LGs first delayed release that isn't MOD? Probably for the best with this now being priced like a "catalog" title and it getting the R-rated cut. Luckily I only paid $3.xx for the PG-13 digital via one of those FanFlix deals.

Quick question: does a movie become better with so many F-bombs?

Yes, because instead of only having many cleavages we also get profanity.

Solid review. Pity about there being no 'unrated' blu-ray; it feels strange to say I'll have to "settle" for the many cleavages, as they were many and enhanced this cinematic experience amply. This had been on my hard drive forever, and I watched it almost by chance last night. While deliberately written to be grating, it was great to see the generously endowed blonde girl--Virginia Gardner--in action. In an athletic role, she did a great job and looked great doing it.

If it feels more realistic to how the characters would actually speak, freak yeah!

A bittersweet find this one is. I saw the announcement of it and was thinking this was another "test the waters with the blu-ray version... oh it did good?... alright, here's a 4K of it some months later" ploy. BUT... this is the unrated cut which will deliver some F-bombs. Hmm... I guess I shall get this! This can go with the Infinity Pool Uncut 4K.

I picked up the Blu last month. Oh well, I'll hand-me-down it to my cousin and pick up the 4K. Being an unrated cut is the only reason, otherwise I'd just settle for the Blu-ray I already have.

Ordered it but wish it had a proper ending. Love the film but it
[Show spoiler]fading to black and then seeing her already rescued felt like such a cop out. What’s an extra 5 minutes of her waiting for help to come?
