So, here's the thing... Eureka's verbiage was technically correct in that it was the first time the film hadn't suffered BBFC cuts. The problem was, the master that they were given was based on a censored re-release version of the film that had appeared on some HK releases (I can confirm the Deltamac VCD was one of them) in order to have a retroactive Category IIB certificate/rating. This is why some later uncensored HK releases of the film have a retroactive Cat III rating:

While we were initially given the same master, I went back and fixed the two censored shots myself. So "shot A" is now uncropped, and "shot B" no longer has the optical censoring.

Right, he just says they don't have them, which is how I should have written it. I can't imagine Arrow wouldn't go after it if it was available, so I have to assume his tweet implies someone else has Magnificent Butcher.

Watched it last night. Pretty good film overall and looked good. If you're a Sammo Hung fan you'll love it.

Now that OldPangYau has confirmed that it is uncensored then I will definitely be picking it up; otherwise I would have passed. There's a local store that, according to their website, has a physical copy "in stock". Their website is not always 100% reliable, but, if true, then I will be picking this up tomorrow. Worst case will be if they don't then I will order from Amazon or the likes. Sadly I have been having to cut back on some of these releases lately but have been wanting an uncensored release of this title. And, though I normally like boxed sets, this title should be stand-alone as it's not really related to the other 2 titles it is boxed with other than Sammo. I like to keep my titles in order of year of release when they are grouped under director.

I will be another confirmation that this is the uncensored version of The Iron Fisted Monk. They made the antagonist was the bad guy with raping anything that catches his eye. The fights were top notch. I just didn't notice any part showing an "Iron Fist" technique. It was enjoyable overall.

As someone who never watched this film before and has watched a ton HK 70's Kung Fu film in the last year, it was a bit jarring to see such a long rape scene in the film. It really made you hate the villain so if that was their goal, then I guess they succeeded.

Watched this today. Enjoyable film overall. The extended rape scenes definitely made me feel uncomfortable, but Hung and Sing Chen are really great here, and the fighting and choreography in the final act was excellent.
