Not really a movie that I would buy again just for a slight upgrade in picture quality over the bluray, probably wouldn't upgrade Violent Night either when it comes to 4K unless it contained a bunch of special features, may possibly get Renfield in 4K though if that comes out eventually.

I see it this way....if I only own it on standard bluray....I'm getting two things out of this. A 4k disc upgrade and a steelbook case. So worth it to me.

That is one of the coolest steelbooks I’ve ever seen. And I never got the Blu-ray, so I pre-ordered this immediately

It's just too bad it took them this long to finally release it on 4K.

This should have been available when the regular blu ray first hit stores on Day 1.

Maybe there were some issues in testing...like the prototype escaped or something.

I wasn't a huge fan of the movie personally, but that's a nice looking steelbook.

Decided to preorder the steel as my store just isn't reliable with in store stock anymore. Really like the artwork, and the regular 4k art just looks to be the same as the blu anyhow...

can you tell us if it looks gloss?

if its matte I still feel comfy passing on it but gloss would get me to double dip

M3gan was one of my favorite movies this year, but I wasn't interested in buying just regular Blu-ray, so when the 4k Steelbook was announced it was a instant buy.

Love the steelbook! I just thought the movie was fair though.

The old me would have bought this just for the art alone. I’m trying to stay strong though ha!

I really liked it too. It was a nice surprise for sure.

I am happy this is getting a 4K release and a steelbook being offered is a definite buy for me.

I just wish Universal would release the 4K/steelbook versions of these films on the same day as the regular blu ray instead of staggering the releases like this.

Just received my German copy and it is completely glossy. My smartphone steelbook photos suck, but here's some live pics anyway:

Was surprised that the German one is 4K only. While I obviously didn't pay attention, I really thought it wasn't necessary. Considering the price, Universal is really taking the piss in Germany at any rate... Don't really need the BD, but it's still nice to have one as well.
