When i saw how Scream Factory was just blasting out the 4k re-dos over the last year, i figured this couldn't be far off. Unlike a lot of them that maybe give me pause, this is an instant buy again at the best quality.

Awesome acting from Walken and Sheen, the always lovely Brooke Adams and a masterful King adaptation from Cronenberg. There is a hell of a lot to like about this movie.

Knew this was coming so I didn't even bother with the first release. I haven't seen this since I bought the DVD like 15 years ago so this will be a nice way to revisit it.

At this point I may as well just sell off any Scream Factory Collector's Edition title that used an existing 4K master on their original blu-ray release.

It's not gonna be a new scan or master, no way. They literally just did one. If it were even slightly older than that by a few years then maybe. But nah.
