When looking a the initial announcement, I was thinking that this would one steel with 6 disc, but look at that monstrosity in the OP. Glad I got the original set.

Yeah that is rough. Main reason why I opted for the House of the Dragon standard 4K vs the steel. 4 stacked discs on each side= nope! I had enough problems with the GOT box set.

Artwork is meh.

Price is horrible. Price per steelbook should be no more than $20. I might bite at $100 for the set just to get DV.

Given that this is Sony, Limited Edition actually means Limited. Odds are this will be long gone before it even comes close to $100.

No. Hate stacked discs. I just thought they might have figured a way to do it with trays. I know they can do a 4 disc steelbook without stacking.

I see now this one has DV, and while I may double dip (or triple dip counting the original blu-ray) on a single movie, I don’t know that I will watch these enough to spend what this set will likely command. This will either sell out at a high price or linger until they blow them out. Depends on the pressing I guess.

Artwork is an eyesore. It’s too bright and cheery. I much prefer the darker aesthetic steelbooks I own. Not worth the DV dip, in my opinion. I bought the first 4K set and have those discs in the steels.

Went ahead and preordered through Amazon. It always takes them a while (probably because their AI is scouting out what everyone else is planning to charge LOL) but their price will come down to a competitive level before release (and if you're willing to jump through the hoops, they'll price-match anyone lower).
