I haven't seen The Abyss in so long, and it's been so anticipated, I'm almost positive it won't live up to expectations. We might no longer think the movie is any good!

Finally broke down and watched the HD version on Amazon a few years ago. Some bad compression in the under water shots but everything inside looked okay. Last tme before that was the ancient Fox DVD which I still own. I had to zoom in because it’s not anamorphic
