Germany is notorious for "autoconverted" 3D Blu-rays that had no human input into the 3D at all, but when all three(!) BloodRayne movies got Blu-ray 3D releases there, Boll paid out-of-pocket to have 3D conversions done with SOME manual input. They're still crap, but they're a tier or two of crap above most of the German conversions.

Also for someone else who asked - the unrated version has previously been released on Blu-ray in Germany, so it's not outside the realm of possibility.

The unrated version is nothing to shout home about. It has two or three very short gore scenes (that have very poor special effects) during the movie and then a four-minutes-montage of additional gore scenes at the very end that makes no sense whatsoever and just ruins the otherwise fine ending of the theatrical version. If you ask me it just exist to make some more money from the gorehounds.
