Yep, Disney UK started using thinner cases a while back (I think Doctor Strange 2 might have been one of the earliest), & now Universal UK & eOne have joined in. I imagine it's only a matter of time before Warner follow suit too, as they already use them for their Archive Collection releases.

The Disney ones are quite solid, but Universal/eOne & Warner Archive seem to have opted to use those horrible flimsy 'eco cases' with half the plastic missing.

My UK copy of The Fabelmans came in a thin eco case, but still had a full width slipcase...

Good Lord that’s awful. I just tested my “thin” Oppenheimer on the Tenet slipcase - that misfit would drive my OCD through the roof!

When this hits about 8 I'll pick it up since it includes the dvd and I'm really looking forward to checking that edition out.

Walked into Target today and spotted one (!) BD with slipcover.

I haven't seen Oppenheimer slipcovers since Week One.

Since I never picked one up, I immediately grabbed this BD.

Even better, I was able to price match the current online rate for $18.

This multi-disc release w/ loads of extras seems like a great throwback.

I'm so sick of WB charging $25-30 for only one disc (!) and fluff extras.
