It's interesting that according to the review on this site it's a 301 minute documentary, but on the steelbook posted above it says 240 minutes.

The version that was posted on streaming services is 1:17 + 1:09 + 1:08 + 1:24. However, each ep has a long title sequence, and the end credits are endless because they list all the backers. I'd say that the actual content is close to 4 hours, the rest is credits etc.

Except mine, so it could have been even longer

Would really appreciate if anyone here can confirm that it is region-locked when they receive it. I don't trust the creators to know what's happening at all.

Eps 1&2 + Extras on disc 1
Eps 3&4 + Extras on disc 2

The absent extras from the US release ARE there.

I had no issues playing either disc on my region A player.

Does this edition have english subtitles, like the US disc?
There is no info about this on the back cover...

That is disappointing, especially since the US disc managed to include this.
Thanks for the info, it's very useful for me to know, since proper subs are always appreciated.

Nice, just like with Pennywise it goes on general release before the backers even get their copys.

The guys at Deadmouse really need to get it into the contract with the distributors that they get sent copys early.

This is so disappointing. I was about to order this a few weeks ago and I’m sure glad I found the Forum for both versions here.

I did stream it first though and as good as it is, it’s also oddly amateurish in places. As an example, the artwork done for the Doc to delineate certain sections is awful and I can only assume done by someone’s friend. And the credits at the beginning are sometimes really badly designed, and laughable with a few of the Creators taking endless credits. And as stated, the end credits go on and on for a very long time, really cutting the actual Doc down considerably in actual length.

Also, the interviews can be odd and almost funny. I’ve known a few of these folks rather intimately for many decades and some of their interviews are 100% bullsquat. One of these guys is known amongst his friends to be one of the biggest BS Artists on the Planet… and no one takes his comments or opinions about anything with anything but a few Ocean Liners full of Salt.

I’ll be waiting to see if the British 2-disc set is what it says it is. It’s sad that the Subs are not included on it.

Thanx to all of you for such detailed information and thoughts.

Is it the "Robo wants an Oreo" guy? Either he or Peter are talking shit though I would prefer if the story was real and Peter's in denial over some of his ridiculous behaviour on set. #TeamReal

Neither. But I'm certainly curious about that. They both seem awfully weird to me. Through the entire Doc my wife kept saying, "Weller is a ****ing freak, isn't he." And she loves RoboCop and Banzai.

I really shouldn't say who this guy is. I like him and actually consider him a friend. I think I met him at the very first Comic Convention I went to after I started working in the business... I think it was the first Bay Con at the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley, late 70s... but you've never met someone as full of crap as he is.

Anyone that's been on set with him knows the answer to this definitively.

I'm going with real, the look on Weller's face and grin as that part of the interview ends says it all for me

I love listening to scathing reviews spoken with an English Accent.

Why importing can be a headache.

Kind of a shame it only covers the first movie and they're saving the rest of the doc footage for the sequels. Hoping it won't take years for the rest of the doc to be released.
