I'm glad to see Sony is continuing the sets. I was hoping that Age of Innocence would be included, but I'm happy enough with the titles they've chosen.

Kramer vs. Kramer, Starman, and Punch-Drunk Love are the selling points for me here. Pretty cool they included an entire TV series as a bonus feature also.

Neither of these films are receiving a lot of love, but I'm beyond thrilled to see 4Ks for His Girl Friday and Guess Who's Coming To Dinner!! The others don't currently interest me, but the set would be worth it for those two films (and I'm willing to give the others a try)! My only complaint is that I still have to keep the Criterion Blu-ray for His Girl Friday for their included version of the 1931 The Front Page.

Holy crap, day f*cking ONE baby.

His Girl Friday, Kramer Vs. Kramer and Starman (which I actually thought would be coming from Shout - glad that's not the case lol) for me are the crown jewels in this set.

So happy to see we're finally getting a fourth volume.

These are ALL stellar films and ground breakers too. K v K was divorce from the father's perspective and very much a role reversal as the mom is the cheater this time and the father has to fill both shoes for his young child. Amazing acting by Hoffman and Streep.

"Guess Whose Coming to Dinner" was a very important film back in the day and the last pairing of secret lovers Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. Poitier was fantastic.

"His Girl Friday" is sharp and witty and non stop, rapid-fire banter. Cary Grant at his best. The female lead matches him step for step, which was rare for the time.

The titles in here are extremely high caliber. They ARE big films.

Me too. The films are good to great, but I was looking forward to On the Waterfront, Gilda and other kinds of classics. The highlight for me is His Girl Friday and I already have the Criterion. Interesting to make it a Valentine’s themed set. Surely lots of fan favorites in there, but less eclectic than other volumes.

To a lot of folks here these classic titles are pretty eclectic.

This is easily going to be a far more robust seller than Vol.3, it's not even close.

Kramer Vs. Kramer - one of the most acclaimed films of the late '70s, plus a box-office smash
Sleepless in Seattle - blockbuster hit from the 90s
Guess Who's Coming To Dinner - late '60s hit, Hepburn Oscar winner
His Girl Friday - classic Howard Hawks comedy
Starman - John Carpenter sci-fi which earned Oscar nom for Jeff Bridges

Nothing "eclectic" about that line-up at all. Good job Sony, that roster should have wide general appeal.

PDL getting Atmos surprised me. Was PTA forced to include that? He's always a stickler for traditional movie methods and Atmos isn't in his wheelhouse. It's not even on Nolan's.

That’s quite the lineup.

And PDL in Atmos!!! That I can’t wait for. I’ve got just two of these titles (PDL Criterion and SIS on an old blu ray) so this is very good news indeed.

Looks like Columbia Classics is alive and well!

More Carpenter in 4K!

Yes, I’m most excited for that.

Whoa just realized the tv show is included as well. Never saw it but will now once I get this!

I was sad that there was no Volume 4 this year, but this will do! I am delighted with the selection. It seems crazy that On the Waterfront or Tootsie still hasn't got a 4k release in 2023, but this is still great.

Can I put in a request right now for His Girl Friday to whomever plans on buying the box and selling the titles individually?
