Target has this for just $15.89. Same price for Anaconda, and Hollow Man too.

I’d rather pay more somewhere else. Every steelbook that I tried to order from Target came damaged in a paper envelope. I don’t even bother anymore.

But the price is good. I’m assuming other retailers will be in this range, too.

But doesn’t Target usually specify if it’s a SteelBook? Maybe that’s the amaray release, hence the price?

It's the steelbook. Same upc as what other sites selling the steelbook have it for. Plus both use the steelbook image:

Interested to hear your take, whether the video's remastered.

Honestly I'm not sure 100% sure if I'll watch it. I got it mostly for the steelbook, going to put my discs from the UHD/Blu-ray combo in it.

I can tell you the Blu-ray has one feature (an interview), no scene access, and although the back over says DTS-HD MA 5.1, my player decodes it as DTS-HD MA Stereo.

Thanks, it's pretty much a certitude it's the old master, but if you ever have it in again for a sec, the remastered video is generally higher contrast, with deeper blacks and richer color (warmer, less green).

The HD, SDR streaming version looks essentially like the converted UHD captures at caps-a-holic.com:

..

So.. who's currently shipping this? On Wal-mart's page, it has a March 6 release date, and every other site listing it has it at a March 26th release date, yet it seems a lot of people already have it. Jus' wonderin' what's the deal-e-o.

Walmart had it as a timed exclusive.

What a weird little release this turned out to be...

First off, the steelbook is a lot more attractive than I thought it would be. I didn't realize it had a clear slipcover with art on it, and it's actually that part of the overall cover art that I don't like. The steelbook itself is attractive and simple, and though the inside artwork/photo choices are odd (and perhaps a bit spoilery), they fit the aesthetic.

When it comes to the disc, this is when this release gets kind of interesting. The only bonus feature included is a 20-minute interview with John Debney, the film's composer, entitled I Know How You Scored Last Summer: An Interview with Composer John Debney. I am kinda floored that Mill Creek got an exclusive special feature that was not included in Sony's 4K release.

That's wild to me. I LOVE that artwork.

I've actually been contemplating spending ~ $150 for this box set because of the art.

And because it comes in a slip box. Same style as the Urban Legends trilogy slip box I have from the same company (88 Films).
