While I'm happy to upgrade anything that comes along in 4K as they become available, the only thing I really NEED is Tarantino's filmography...
I don't care for fancy packaging, extras or a boxset... just the movies ... handled properly so that they look like FILM on my setup.

I can't imagine them skipping any of his movies... just making us wait for absolutely no good reason...

Like the first post, I'd love The English Patient, the Blu-ray looks lovely, but it's a favourite film, & we've had Amadeus, so I'm sure it will happen. Top of my list would be The Wild Bunch, mainly because the current Blu-ray is such an old transfer (& the same goes for Where Eagles Dare). I think large format films would benefit most from a 4K presentation, like: Ben-Hur, The Vikings, the '62 Mutiny On The Bounty, Lord Jim (not even a Blu-ray of that one yet), Grand Prix ect. I'd love the '63 Cleopatra with some lush colour, but being Disney/Fox I'm not holding my breath.

The Wild Bunch! When oh when will this Masterpiece be recognized and given the special edition that it so deserves?!

Sam Peckinpah’s absolute masterpiece was the first major motion picture to incorporate squib packets. Squibs were used to simulate bullet exit wounds and added a visceral experience of the carnage that guns and their ammunition impacts on the human body. Peckinpah’s added to this, overlapping shots and slow motion to accentuate the bloody deaths by guns.

This was merely a technical production component, however, what made the Wild Bynchvthevnasterpiecectgar it is, was its superlative cast, starring William Holden, Ernest Borgnine, Robert Ryan Warren Oates, Ben Johnson and Strother Martin, each at their grizzled best.

Of all the great westerns, the Wild Bunch continues to be one of the only great Westeens yet omitted from an upgrade for its physical media. PLEASE MAKE THIS A 4K Special Edition with a “Chunky” Boxset it so richly deserves.…
