I didn't know Itunes was offering 3D movies at this time. That's good to at least see more options for those who prefer digital 3D movies.

Blu ray 3D is my favorite choice, but haven't tried digital 3D yet since I have so many blu ray 3Ds that I still watch a 3D movie every week or so.

Starting Monday, the iTunes Store app on iPhone and iPad will redirect users searching for TV and film titles to the newly redesigned Apple TV app. In addition, the iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows apps on Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD streaming devices also will kick users over to the Apple TV app on those platforms.
Okay, good to know, thanks for the info.

Aquaman 2 was updated and is now playable in full 3D!

So today I spent an hour searching the catalogue and finding all the "stealth" 3D titles that have been available to purchase in 3D but didn't show up in the "3D Movies" collection....

So of course Apple fixed that bug tonight and they're all showing up now in the collection! Haha, such is life. The only two that still don't show up in the collection are Wish and Migration, which are both available in 3D now. I purchased Wish to confirm it does play, but did not buy Migration yet.

AQUAMAN 2 started playing in 3D for me last Tuesday, so it doesn't seem to have been tied to the physical release date... Maybe that was just a bug.

Wish & Migration now show up under the 3D Movies category…

Also The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug has also been added.

The Hobbit movies also aren't the extended editions. A pretty worthless offering if you ask me, as the extended editions do have a 3D Blu-ray.

Noticed that Avatar the Way of The Water 3D seems to be the only AVP stream where I immediately notice the clarity (soap opera effect).
This stream has to be the 48 fps version.

as far as I understand it, with the re release the HFR was "added" to some scenes but not the whole movie. I'm assuming similarly to the way it was done in 2. do you have a rough guess what % of the movie seems to be 48?

The AVP Apple TV app lists Rise of the Guardians Movie with the 3D option, but only streams in 2D for me and doesn't give an option to re-purchase for the 3D version.

Is anyone able to play this in 3D on the AVP to date?

Yes and it is spectacular in 3D on AVP…as with most other titles, you must purchase it via AppleTV/iTunes directly.

I assume you’re encountering a similar issue with the Grinch 3D…
