Not really. Three-ish hours of such simplistic imagery (vs the visual vagaries of live action I mean) will be easy enough to compress with a more than respectable bitrate on a triple layer disc, and as the extras are on the Blu that saves even more space on the 4K disc.

I think at this point the problem's more that it's Shout putting two movies on a disc rather than the mere idea of the movies being crammed on one disc.

Didn't sound like matey's specific problem, but yes, the notion of shout's compressionists doing this doesn't fill one with confidence, especially with the Blu.

After reading the specs and the one disc jazz, I'm so glad I have the Italian 4k's right now even if they don't have English subs. Shout is slowly pissing me off more and more, one release at a time.

Now knowing that Shout really sucks at properly listing audio tracks on press releases with stuff like Weird and The Boy and the Heron, makes me wonder if this WILL actually have Atmos on release.

I got my copy yesterday too. I haven't tested the 4K disc out yet, but I wonder if compression and artifacts will be a factor since Shout crammed both films onto one disc.
