Austin Butler is James Dean's looks + Jeremy Strong's dedication + Al Pacino's intensity.

Does not look or feel like an Aronofsky movie, but I'll see anything he makes.

Looks like Aronofsky doing an Egdar Wright or Guy Ritchie type of film. I'm interested.

I hope this movie has staying power
I'm on vacation when this comes out for 10 days. Fingers crossed. Haven't missed any Aronofsky in theaters since Requiem.

Caught Stealing - Rated R for strong violent content, pervasive language, some sexuality/nudity and brief drug use.

There no theaters where you're going? Seeing a movie ON your vacation would seem to be ideal.

There is a single 4 screen theater in the entire area. If it happens to play it I will, but it's highly unlikely lol.

I remember a family vacation to Canada in 2019 starting the day that Once Upon A Time In Hollywood came out. I did manage to convince my sister to go see it five days in, and felt a little guilty when the incredibly violent climax came up.

Only a decent movie. Doesn't break any new ground, especially for Aronofsky. I didn't really feel his presence in this movie.

Although there is tension throughout, this really has to be absorbed for its dark comedy aspects to be best appreciated, plus the fact that this story could only operate logistically in a pre-9/11 world if taken at face value (which it is).

As a Giants fan, they make way too many references to that '98 NL WC race, and my mind flashed to images of its
[Show spoiler]heartbreaking
ending way too often, and also kept me absorbed in the lead character. How one can't be romantic about baseball is beyond me. Cats? Not as much, but the cat in this movie was precious.

Saw this tonight. It was straight to dvd crime thriller trash with an A list cast. The Hebrew gangstas were amusing but that’s about it. The rest was a boring mess. Aronofskys worst film. 2.5/5

Wasn't expecting a Fantastic Four reference in the new poster for Aronofsky's latest...

^ Please, enlighten me. Where is the reference?

If it's the white and blue on the plate, I don't think Fantastic Four holds exclusive rights to that particular color palette. If it's the wording/phrasing, then I must've missed it the first time.

Gotcha. My memory didn't hold on what kinds of cookies that movie had.

I'm surmising jest in your speech being the most logical intent, but to speak seriously for a moment anyway, Caught Stealing spends a somewhat wholesome moment talking about how these cookies harken to a character's backstory.
