so what do you guys think? This is giving me FOMO cause these are steelbooks, I have a few questions....

should I wait for this new wave of releases to come out entirely?

should I wait for a possible steelbook collection?

are these brand new 4k transfers?

what is the possibility that the older movies (1-4) are gonna be getting the same treatment as these (if they even come out)?

No one knows if there will be a steelbook set. I'd just buy these.

I'm glad they finished this set properly. I was afraid we would never get to finish these in steelbooks (in the same vein as the originals) without having to rebuy them all. I hated when Dizney made Toy Story 4 steelbook and the artwork didn't match the other three, so this is most welcomed.

1. This wave has come out entirely. These 2 complete it.
2. This is a matching steelbook collection. There probably won't be another.
3. V will have a new 4K transfer like II-IV, yes. Balboa already exists as a 2K DI, so it's unlikely this will use a different source.
4. I-IV already have come out and had this same treatment lol you've evidently missed them.

I knew they were out but i thought that maybe cause the disks have so many problems (audio issues i read) i though they were gonna redo them or at least do a replacement program. I should of bought them when they released. I was so sure they were gonna do a do-over. Oh well

Not yet, still waiting on that. May actually need to wait for rear shots of the amaray cases for total clarity, like we did with the others.

I'm hoping that's the case, but the listing for Balboa has the Director’s Cut specified in the write-up on Amazon and has it in the image too. Rocky V has neither, so it's not looking good.

Had no issues with 1-4 I received. The six together make a nice looking set. Think Walmart already has some of the previous four.

Zavvi US's page says "December 2024", so this looks to be a SE7EN-type situation (which also hasn't earned an official press release or screener announcement from WB) where we'll be waiting at least six months. And you can bet that regular editions will likely be offered as well, but obviously no word on any new boxed set, fixed or otherwise. (I'm guessing "otherwise".) I'll delete the release dates until I get some confirmation.
