I finally watched this Cannibal Apocalypse 4k last night. Despite the reviewer claiming a larger set was needed to appreciate, I decided to view it on my small 48" lg oled (which actually boasts a sharper image than larger 4k sets with it's smaller pixels...8k @ 75" I believe are their size (so what's he talking about?) Improvements can immediately be seen vs the standard blu ray. Greater depth, clarity and more visual details. The indoor mall flea market was a highlight. But frankly, I was missing hdr. It's black levels aren't black enough in sdr. Lifted to gray. HDR10 or Dolby Vision contrast would not only make visuals more realistic, but also expand depth. So if you were happy with Final Exam, Scream (1981), Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things & Night of the Living Dead 4k's, this one is just like those. All of the above are noticeable improvements over their previous 1080 releases...even on smaller 4k tvs! If you love these movies, get them all! I wouldn't hold my breath on hdr graded re-releases.

Another movie that I should probably have another look at. I remember being very underwhelmed by it.

Anyone know if this movie will get a UHD release elsewhere with HDR and Dolby Vision?
