LFG!! My Dad took me to see this in the theater when I was a kid. It absolutely changed my perspective on listening to classical music. Absolutely day one, and one of the few movies I will gladly pay msrp on.

Is it possible WB will release the theatrical version in 4k this year, and Criterion will follow up with their own release with both cuts? Digital Bits had some rumors a few years back Criterion was picking this up.

I remember George Feltenstein saying that Philip Kaufman wanted Criterion, and Criterion wanted, to do The Unbearable Lightness of Being around the time that WB finally renewed their agreement with the Saul Zaents Company. Always seemed to me that that would more likely come from Criterion than Amadeus.

wouldn't it technically be a requirement by the DGA to include it or something?
