Arrow Value Electronics 2024 TV ShootoutŪ Evaluation event

We just set the date for our annual TV ShootoutŪ Evaluation event to be Saturday, August 3 and Sunday August 4, 2024.

This will be our 21st annual TV Shootout Evaluation event.

I wanted to explain why we use all 65" screen sized TVs.

First is that all of the brands and models come in 65".

Second if we used larger screen sizes the judges would not be able to see the 32" Mastering Monitor and all of the TVs together at the same time. So if we used larger screen sizes the judges would not be able to compare and evaluation all of the TVs against each other easily.

However as we have done on several TV Shootout years I will again this year set-up Sony's 85" BRAVIA 9 QD MiniLED TV butt next to LG's 83" G4, LG's 86" QNED90T and a couple other 77" - 83" & 85" TVs in a separate dedicated room with very low ambient light for everyone to see them next to each other.

Also this year we'll have two 4K TV Shootouts, one for OLED TV and one for MiniLED TVs. When both 4K events are completed and we crown the winners we'll then put the winner of the OLED and the winner of the MiniLED butt next to each other for the judges and all attendees and the YouTubers to see how they compare against each other.

I have a few more updates that I'll share as I am allowed. I'll also post our press release once it's released to the media. So stay tuned to this thread for updates.
