Easy pass for me without even seeing one - just doesn't tick my box named 'entertainment'.

Won't the sex scenes be blurred anyway (Japanese censorship)?

From memory it's all simulated and there's no hardcore at all and the only fogging is of genital areas prior to and after the act.

But someone who has seen them more recently than me may want to confirm for sure.


All this talk of whether or not the fogging/obscuring will be "baked" into the print - I'm no expert, but I do know at some point for these types of films, as well as Japanese erotica and porn, they always prepared uncensored versions for foreign markets. Does anyone know when they started doing that? (Suspect it's much more recent than when these three were made)

I had wondered what was going on over at 88, they've had nothing since Feb on their Japanese line, but I was not expecting this!

The first one was softcore sex and not as much gore as some other movies got that passed the ratings. It was more of a chaos of kink. Lots of body fluids. Necrophilia. Rape.

I'm not sure what to think about this. I've heard about at least one of these before (the second one, I think), and I'm not really into that kind of thing, but I guess that I still might get this out of curiosity if it's discounted enough.

I am as baffled by the censorship as Carrie Hamilton's character was in Tokyo Pop (coming this year from Third Window Films).

88films have got b***s because who would have thought that with all the films in the world they would and could get released it would be these films.

This is really unexpected for me.

Although I am an enjoyer of these films, the one I truly want from Gaira would be Battle Girl: The Living Dead in Tokyo Bay, it's such a fun experience. Weirdly even the DVD isn't listed on this site. Hopefully 88 can grab that if they're in talks with Gaira.

EDIT: Apparently Battle Girl was added between the time I last checked, no movie entry though.
