I would be surprised if they release any more HB movies/shows this year unless it is Scooby-Doo related. But still cool we are getting so much HB stuff.

Hooray for Top Cat. Now, if Shout will give us Bilko (the original) Top Cat on blu as well, I will be super happy.

as much as i like this,

i'd rather see properly restored H-B shows on blu-ray that haven't received any dvd release prior.

I get the argument for this. Quick Draw McGraw is the obvious choice here. Is there something you’re hoping for?

my main want would be all 48 original versions of
What A cartoon! from 1995-1997,
quickly followed by Foofur,
and The full 1 hour (45 min without commercials)
versions of The Flintstone Comedy Hour
and The All-New Popeye Hour

but i'll take anything H-B from the 1957-1993 period,
that would have my interest enough to want to buy.

as for specials that could totally be restored for blu-ray,
how about Hanna-Barbera 50th Anniversary Special (1989)
and Hanna-Barbera's All Star Comedy Ice Review (1978)

the first only exists from old tv recordings,
the other one did get an official VHS release.

so they'd be perfect for blu-ray as well.

If we can get Josie and The P*ssy Cats in Outer Space then we should be able to get A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, Huckleberry Hound, Pirates of Dark Water, Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc., SWAT Kats, Yogi Bear, etc.

I'm very happy to read that this show is going out on Blu-ray. My mother actually loved this show when she was a kid. She owns some DVDs of Top Cat in her house. I'm not sure if she owns The Complete Series on DVD yet. I started watching it too when it was on TV when I was a kid in the 90's along with The Flintstones, Wacky Races and Yogi Bear. They were really good shows back then. They were regarded as classics for a very good reason. Other shows made from today's era cannot match the legacy of these legendary shows made in the past.

If the 4K restoration of Top Cat turns out to be a big hit from Warner Archive; It could prove to be a spectacular release for an Warners Brothers animated show on Blu-ray. Here's hoping that the other shows from HB will get that same level of treatment soon.

I wish I would’ve kept my complete series DVD set that I got years ago just so I can compare the transfers from the DVD to the Blu-ray.

YES! I'm both excited for this title and that complete H-B on Blu-ray sets and back. I hope we get one or two more shows this year. Yogi Bear, Wacky Races or Pirates of Dark Water are my top picks, but I'll be happy with almost any of them. As was said above, excited to retire my DVD set.

I'm really excited about what MeTv has been doing for the classic Hanna-Barbera library, for the longest time alot of the catalog had been stuck in a purgatory of not being on streaminf at all and stuck on dvd, excited to see all these hb shows get proper HD restorations, this'll probably mean that shows such as yogi bear and wacky racers will get Warner Archive Blu rays. also hopefully it'll also lead the way to H-B shows without any releases at all such as Yo-Yogi! or The Cattanooga Cats getting dvds or blu-rays.

At least there is a good chance to get most HB series on blu ray though I am still puzzled why we haven't gotten Animaniacs, Freakazoid, and Tiny Toons.

Hopefully WAC also decides to continue doing Hanna Barbera movies, both made for tv and theatrical, as well.

They have a bunch but one that really should be released in HQ is The Man Called Flintstone.

A double feature of those 2 early 90s jonny quest movies would be cool.
