Default How should Paramount make it up to us?

After all this talk of them coming back I know I have a grudge with them still and I'm sure others do !

By giving us high quality transfers with lossless audio. And, I want all of the star trek movies in a collector's set.

NONE OF THE ABOVE

They should redo their current library of HDM movies with video encodes that take advantage of the 40mbps max video bitrate of Blu-Ray as well as release ALL of their movies with Lossless soundtracks.

As long as they release their movies with solid encodes, and lossless audio, I will be happy.

Oh, and please fire Alan Bell.

They dont owe anyone anything. They are out for profit. They could care less about nerds on a forum.

Also, please stop with the encode stuff. A company is not going to spend all that money to re encode, so that you can see a 1% improvement. I'm glad you dont run a business.

All they need to do is make movies they don't owe anybody anything. I find the thought that owe us something humorous. Just bring on the movies.

It would be nice to have a BOGO or B2G1 the first week, but it's not needed. I don't feel that they actually OWE us anything. I'm just glad that now I will get to buy alot of the movies that I couldn't before

I voted for "Nothing at all, Just be happy they are back..."

But what I hope Paramount (and Uni) does for us is release quality BD's. And by quality I mean 5 star video with 5 star lossless audio.

Nothing at all, Just be happy they are back... (If they are indeed back as no official announcement has yet been made.) Although a BOGO would be excellent!

That's the thing, Paramount doesn't have to make it up to us. I think maybe they should offer some kind of mail in rebates maybe, if you send in a proof of purchase of any (we do not speak its name) disc. But it will not happen. Paramount will just make anyone who bought (hmmhmm) discs buy them again if they want a movie on Blu.
