I was more asking for anyone who had seen it, if it was. I figured no one had (will? going to?) used an upgraded Omega 13 to come back to tell me if the disc was worth the buy. ![]() |

That was surprising. Not sure what I think about that. It’s not like the partially transparent Lionsgate ones that are integrated with the artwork. It does keep the steel protected though. While it doesn’t hurt to keep it on, it kind of defeats the purpose of it being a Steelbook. 🤔

Amazon lost my preorder in transit, and it appears a replacement through them won’t be available any time soon.
I ordered a copy of the steelbook this morning from Deep Discount. Hopefully there’s no issues, and I receive a copy before the steelbook is sold out. |

Uniformity in my steelbook collection dictates it must fit in a steel shell protective case. Plus this cardboard slip clashes with a metal case. Cardboard goes with plastic amarays. Not steelbooks. |

The slip is a nice bonus.
I don't even care much for slips. But it'll help protect the steelbook Last edited by FlamedLiquid; 12-06-2024 at 12:06 AM. |

The steelbook is nice, but I am disappointed by the picture quality. The colors seem much nicer, but the DNR hammer has hit a lot of this hard, especially in the earlier parts of the movie. I did a compare to my blu-ray and often the blu-ray beats the 4k in detail level. Sometimes the 4k looks better (detail wise) but more often it does not. The colors are so much nicer on the 4k though, so I can't condemn the disc completely. Not sure which I would choose to watch honestly, but the 4k is definitely not a clear win.
