It was on the list, which would make it #7. Must be delayed as Bob's last posting said that they haven't even received the scans yet.

Bob said last that there were 9 in the "pipeline" so I will continue to wonder about the identity of #s 8 and 9?

Is 3D rarities done, or has there been any recent talk of a final volume? Thoroughly enjoyed volume 1 and 2.

There are no plans for another volume. We've been including various rarities as bonus shorts on other releases.

I see, that’s a shame, but I’m extremely grateful to own what was released. Will look forward to future bonus content.

And the bonus shorts and slide shows have been stellar, in some cases more appealing to me than the feature. Keep 'em coming!

Same The Stereo Realist slides added as an extra on some disks are my favorites.

I too love the stereo realist slideshows. I would also love to see a disc full of the View Master archives. Has anyone done anything like that?

Yep, I think I said the exact same thing after sampling 3D Rarities 2 and those delightful slides. (Both sets)
It was like revisiting the Viewmaster of my childhood.
Really enjoyed the ones on Robot Monster too.

ah, that's a future release of mine I'm planning, I don't know about View Masters because of copyright. So I don't have any of those, maybe 1 or 2 and they're pretty pricey to buy now. I started collecting 35mm stereo slides awhile back and have over 5k originals (so far, I gave up counting!) in my collection. I think it would be difficult at least, proving original ownership at this point. I think most in my collection the original photographers are long dead, so publication would probably be fine.

Many are from award-winning stereo club members. And even some stereo originals from Ted Lambert, well-known stereo photographer. I haven't bought many stereo slides lately, I think I've got a pretty good collection, I wasn't planning on getting this many even, it just sort of happened. But I'm planning on releasing these, probably in volumes because I have so many and mostly, I just want to share them, because it seems after viewing them thru the viewer they are really quite striking to see, it's just a shame to let them sit in the shoe boxes I have them in now. They should be shared and preserved and eventually the original stereo negatives, I'll have to pass them on, I don't know if my kids would want them, but I'll make sure they get preserved, they should belong in a museum or library.

Anyway, I have 1 project I'm finishing up ahead of this, that I'll drop (hopefully) early next year and then I'll get to work on this. I have a flatbed film scanner I picked up and I used it on stereo slides that I took for Botanica 3D, it went pretty well for that, but they weren't mounted, so I'm not sure how much work it will be, maybe I won't have to remove from mounting, (some are glass-mounted) but some will need cleaned up. I'll know more once I get started.

Yes, Realist slides, Kodak, Kodachrome, oh my!

How does Hyperspace factor in? Is that more than 12 months away?

10 years for 3-D Film Archive, congratulations on helping to preserve 3-D Film History to Bob, Greg, Jack and the 3-D Film Archive team/contributors! Thanks for all the great restorations on blu ray 3d!

I'm hoping for a restoration of Star Chaser 3D, the animated Star Wars-like feature sci-fi adventure on blu ray 3D one of these years. That would be awesome.
