Finally!

I wonder who's releasing it? WB rarely do new extras for their catalogue titles, so perhaps they've licensed it to a boutique? Praying for Arrow, cough.

I guess any hope of the extended cut of the first is too much to ask?

If it's from Arrow or another boutique label, I hope they include the UK edit and the weird Korean edit that has redubbed lines and alternate takes to remove references to Japan. And the original Dolby Surround mix of course.

The second movie is unfortunately a strictly for kids movie - a direct response to parents who complained about the first movie being too dark and violent.

The third was strangely cheap and amateurish, despite an interesting premise.

Yeah, although I wouldn't complain about having deleted scenes a extras. I do believe a least one scene was changed to avoid a PG-13.

The UK edit? You mean the BBFC-censored version? Why would anyone want that??

And yes, OG stereo track is a MUST.

Its WB and there really lazy when it comes to going into the vault to either find deleted scenes or re-scan them into HD so I wouldn't count on it.

I don't think this has been mentioned yet, but the person conducting the interview is Justin Beahm (Reverend Entertainment). While he has worked on some studio releases, he predominantly works on releases from Shout! Factory and Arrow, so I think it's very likely to come from one of them. Both have Warner deals.

Thanks, MF! I'd wondered who the interviewer was. Praying for Arrow!

Yeah, Arrow have been releasing more Warner 4K releases lately than SF so I feel like it's them, but impossible to know for sure.. Beahm produced the extras for Arrow's upcoming release of Demolition Man, and also did the ones for another WB release of those Clash/Wrath of the Titans films.

I can’t tell you how excited I am for this. Hopefully it is done justice and it’ll be released by Arrow.

I'm getting a little hot under the collar.

Like others have said, though, I'm hoping it's a trilogy set. Have a lot of nostalgia for the sequels, even though they're obviously not as good as the original.

Super stoked for this, but I'm wondering what the grain situation is gonna be. I don't know if it's because it was the first dvd that had the old cardboard snap-case, my old tube tv, or my old dvd player (or all of the above), but I remember this flick being VERY grainy. The most noticeable scene was when Casey Jones is trying to sleep in his car and I could barely see anything lol.

As for the sequels, I actually like TMNT 2007 most and would love to see that added to a potential box set as well. Sure it's animated and still very much a kids movie, but even when I myself was a kid, I never got much from the sequels other than the soundtracks, which I still have to this day.

The first is definitely the best, and I don’t recall enjoying the sequels too much. Not sure I’d want to shell out for an expensive box set including the others.

Oh man, getting hit with so much nostalgia now. Having memories of playing the awesome Turtles in Time game on SNES.
