Why are some of the prices for these “movie deals” so high?

Target has a lot of potential though it’s a pain in the butt to maximize. You can do the buy 2 get one and a 10% off the order and then another 12% off with target circle rewards and another 10% using target gift cards. If the stars align you can get around 50 to 60% off your order. If your really quick you can also get a few spider pricing errors at Amazon where they accidentally basically drop the price by 33% twice trying to match target but those come and go over the course of mins.

The used markets actually gone down in price over the last year at most places except good will which is really out of touch in general.

I've found 4k, Steelbooks, Criterion titles, and new/sealed blus and DVDs. At $.99/each (except for multi-disc sets), it'll be rare for me to buy from a company now. It really re-ignited the thrill of the hunt for me.

Also, be sure to hit up thrift stores after Christmas when people donate gifts they don't want.

I wish the goodwill stores by me sold physical media that cheap.

Blurays are like 3.99 tv series seasons on dvd range from 3.99 to 5.99

We are really starting to feel the impact of Best Buy leaving.

It was the last hurrah last year and it was a good one, the excitement for me was still there. They went out big too, discounting a lot of titles and steelbooks [especially the Disney 100 steelbooks]

Yep, considering most disc production now is in Mexico, I have a feeling prices are going to go up about 20% for some reason...
