Please be a NEW Dolby Atmos mix... I've read a lot of reviews of the mix on the Shout edition not sounding all that great.

What was wrong with invasion from KL?

Bad encode and 2.0 downmix instead of the theatrical stereo mix, it was also missing some dialogue on a radio in one scene, Arrow fixed all of the issues

it's too bad there isn't a better alternative for the 1956 version yet

Is there any way of predicting which 4K titles Arrow might release that already have a SF release? Is it mostly MGM or Universal titles?

Decided to completely stop pre-ordering anything especially boutiques. Happy to pull the trigger when the price drops as would like to spend money wisely going forward (2025 resolution lol).

Most of these end up on sales. Heck I wouldn't mind a plain Amaray for under £14 in my current state. Got to act now to avoid my shelves collapsing on its own weight.

I don't dislike Dan Mumford as an artist, but I find his work to be too same-y. So much of his work has the character's back in the foreground amongst some rubble or other rough terrain. Like, you wouldn't be crazy to think Lifeforce and The Chronicles of Riddick were part of a share universe here.

I kept my Arrow BD when I grabbed the Shout UHD for the extras. I wanted a UHD copy of it even if it wasn't both versions. Now I can retire my Arrow BD and the Shout UHD. The extras are in one place, both cuts in 4K. I don't mind double dipping in this case.

I think the cover would look better without the guy in the foreground. And maybe cropped in a little.

Lol, I knew there was something familiar about that Lifeforce art. Not my thing.

Not a huge fan of the art... but I don't much like the original art for this one either, so no great loss.

The art isn't particularly my cup of tea but the film has been cursed by so much poor case art in the BD-era that it actually doesn't seem quite so bad...

Think that's the art they used on the JP release. (edit: nope, the release used the same art as the German, it was a Brazilian release with this art).

That, and the German art is probably the best, although I don't mind Arrow's reverse case art on the 2019 release (not sure if it was the same on the previous release, I got the steelbook that time around).
