Toxic Avenger II and Sgt. Kabukiman had others footing a majority of the bill which resulted in Troma having to had their hand forced in showing restraint.

Yeah but I mean I've seen the R-rated version of 3 and I swear it would've gotten a PG-13 at most had it not been an indie film, so I can only imagine how butchered the R-rated version of part 2 is.

Nearly every in-house Troma film has had outside investors. That said, nobody ever has, or could, force Lloyd's hand on content. Any restraint shown was self-imposed.

Review of "Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D." UHD( looks like VS still overcooks their colors unless the review is wrong)-

How do you get something negative out of this? -

"The UHD of the director's cut looks simply insane, with the HDR-compatible Dolby Vision turning this into a visual carnival with a riot of eye-popping colors and pin-sharp detail. It looks so much more healthy and vibrant than any other release...."

I thought it looked absolutely amazing. It's just too bad the movie is much too long and so poorly edited.
