This actually might not get a separate Nordic-release since the UK release has all the subtitles for those countries too. Hmmm. I really don't care much for steelbooks, but been getting loads lately because they seem to have more content lately (namely a Blu ray disc too). Might have to get this on steel too.

UK discs having Nordic subs hasn't stopped us getting a separate release in the past so I don't expect this to be any different. It's Warner, they stack their releases with just about every European language there is.

May not always have the same artwork but the disc is i-den-ti-cal.

iMusic had the regular UK 4K for preorder now, so added it to my April Arrow-order. It's fugly, but so is the steelbox, I figured I don't need the Blu ray with this one.

The Blu-ray.com page for the standard case mentions that it contains a UHD disc and a BD disc but then says "single disc". Which is correct?

It's just the 4K disc, and every 4K disc has "Blu-ray disc" displayed underneath too on the site.

I hope the new restorations don't deviate too much from the previous masters in terms of color grading. I love the look of the films, especially parts 1 and 2 look very good with the warm colors and the intense blue.

It's been a while since I saw the first two BDs, but having watched The Enforcer and Sudden Impact not long ago, the color on BDs looks typical for a CRT TV back in the day. In other words, definitely off.

A question I'd also like to see answered (I saw myself that a Blu-ray disc is being included in the Collector's Edition UK steelbook release of Dirty Harry). Hopefully it will be answered soon.

On a sort of separate note, have been checking to see if the new restoration is being shown in UK cinemas (had read on Park Circus' website that it would be being shown in UK cinemas during this spring).

I see the release date has moved to 19th May.

I eventually went with the CE as it's one of my favourite films so deserves the extra cash investment minus HMV's 20% off obviously

Not as cool as that old mammoth release:

Anyone collect those? I have around a dozen I think. Full size lobby cards and poster very cool. Some of the best dust collectors I have.

I was thinking of getting this edition, but then I saw the picture at retailers and it looks different than the original, which is very dissapointing, I really liked that map.

Not sure why I have 2 of the same of Matrix (I think the contents are slightly different) the other Matrix is the version released in Japan.
