Wasn't going to and hang onto the Kino one, then took a look at the new artwork and extras and the sound mixes, no will power, pre-ordered from Zavvi

This was one of those Kino 4Ks I nearly bought a few times, especially when it was relatively cheap on Amazon UK, but never did. Glad I didn’t now.

Yes, a sicko indeed. I hope you end up getting it though.

One of my favourite soundtracks ever. It makes everything cool. Seriously. Crank David Shire’s main title and start doing something really mundane, like the washing up. It instantly becomes badass.

I also really love Shire's score for The Conversation. That piano theme is just *chef's kiss*

Just seen the announcement trailer on Arrow’s YouTube channel. The release will probably look completely different but the colour grade between that and the Kino is wildly different. I enjoyed the 4K Kino visuals, less so the audio.

When Arrow uploads an "Original Trailer" they're not usually sourced from their transfers, and also not usually representative of the final look. The one they uploaded for this is largely the same as one uploaded 7 years ago from another channel.

So nice that Arrow and Criterion will still pay for a good illustration.

Compliments to Sam Hadley for this beauty of a cover

Peacemaker is Dreamworks Paramount so I doubt it.

European labels are now able to make a deal with Paramount. First Turbine Germany for Breakdown as well ans Arrow for Witness. I’m sure not much is off the table now, so I’ll definitely be willing to take a chance and wait a while for all the goodies to materialize.

I agree. The Kino was just OK. I hope Arrow also gets Death Wish as the Kino 4K was drab to say the least.

I'd actually like to make a correction here, the mono on Kino's release was actually legit. The reason why everyone assumed it was a downmix is because the 5.1 track was directly upmixed from it, so downmixing that track would give similar, if not identical waveforms to the original mono track.
